Lunches

Lunches are one of the best parts about camping with Naked Heart. We don't make your lunch for you but we do provide the ingredients for you to make your own. The options are:

frozen fruit smoothies

fresh squeezed vegetable juice

sandwiches

leftovers

snacks

This orientation is provided so that you can be familiar with how the process operates and so that you can bring additional ingredients if you choose. These extra ingredients are usually for smoothies. Everyone seems to have their favorite addition.

Frozen Fruit Smoothies

We provide frozen strawberries, raspberries, blackberries and sometimes blueberries. There are usually bananas as well. If you mix about a cup of berries, a banana and some rice milk, you will have a very nice 12 oz. glass of amazing refreshing goodness. Some people like to add nut butters which we provide. Other campers have brought such exotic things as Aciai, hemp seeds, bee pollen, protein powder, etc. These extra additions are great to share so bring a little extra if you like.

You will see a smoothy station set up with several blenders. Behind the station is a cooler with the berries. There are extra blender carafes so you can be filling up your carafe while someone else is blending. When you are done blending, see if someone else would like to use your dirty carafe. It saves strain on the dish washing system. When you do wash your carafe of glass, swirl a little pre-rinse water in each and then dump into the collection basin below the hand wash sink. This will keep the pre-rinse cleaner longer.
