What to Bring With you to Naked Heart

It has been our intention to create Naked Heart as a "fly-in" camp. Hard to Find Advice

1. Leave marijuana at home if you don't know how to seal it— Each year you see many people pulled over on the side of the road leading to BM with all their possessions pulled out of the car and a drug dog sniffing over them. Marijuana is the one item that there are plenty of dogs trained to "alert" on. Don't fall prey to lazy cops looking to hassle people and squeezing fines out of them.

2. You can get a cheap shower in Sparks at the Truck stop. Every large truck stop has showers for $10-12. If everyone in your car squeezes in, it is all the same price. Unlimited hot water and 2 clean towels. Inquire at the fuel desk.

Bikes

Bikes are much more important than you might imagine and they are very difficult for people flying in to manifest. Fortunately our camp rents bikes as a fundraiser. The link to reserve your bike can be found in many of the camp letters.

Keep in mind that you can buy a brand new bike at Walmart for about $200. This may be a good option if you can transport a bike on AND off the playa. There are places in Reno that will accept the donation of your unwanted bike. DO NOT LEAVE YOU BIKE BEHIND WHEN YOU EXIT!!

Anything else?

Tents, big costumes and sleeping gear can be cumbersome to travel with. If you can borrow these or find storage for these things for another Burn, you can save money on equipment and/or airline bag fees.
